Rising Cost of Living Crisis

Our campaigns and work to raise awareness

We want to help our service users to access the support that is available to them and to find ways to tackle the rising cost of daily expenses.

"I haven't been able to buy any fresh fruit lately because of the price but the food drop is always able to provide at least one type of fruit for me to take home."

Every Thursday, volunteers deliver food products including fresh fruit and veg, cereals, pastas, sauces, juice, snacks and other items.

Local residents are invited to come and collect a bag of items which are sorted by our volunteers who run the food drop from 11am- 2pm.

We spoke about our concerns to the listeners of LBC radio and have secured funding through Global Make Some Noise to help families to cook healthy, nutritious meals on a small budget.
