Abdul Hoque Habib It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Abdul Hoque Habib, co-founder of SocietyLinks Tower Hamlets. Habib was a pillar of the community and strived to better opportunities for those around him. He brought his skills of management and his immense understanding and knowledge of strategy and business to our organisation and gave colleagues and Trustees the strength and confidence needed to make positive decisions. His support is deeply missed and we will forever remember his contribution and the role that he played. Summer 2025

This Summer marked our 15th Anniversary and we celebrated with a beautiful event in the orchard including a bouncy castle, BBQ and fun games.

All through the summer we had our HAF programme which was held in Swedenborg Park as well as a residential trip to Gillwell Park for our young people.

Families also joined us for trips to the seaside and we were lucky enough to be invited to free sports coaching sessions in the City.

Be Body Positive

SocietyLinks has been working closely with ELBA and NHS to build an accessible website for young people, parents and professionals to access vital information about disordered eating and positive body image.

London Youth Bronze Award

We have been re-awarded the bronze accreditation by London Youth which means that all our policies and procedures have been verified and assessed for quality and impact.

Our visit to Global Radio!

SocietyLinks' staff and service users were invited by Global Radio to attend and talk about our successful project which will be funded Global's Make Some Noise.

On Monday, we visited Capital Xtra and met the breakfast show team, Shayna-Marie and Robert Bruce who wanted to know about our youth projects and on Friday we went LIVE on LBC with Nick Ferrari.
